The rules in Castro Valley are different
Castro Valley is unincorporated Alameda County. Since March 6, 2025, rentals here fall under the County's Just Cause for Eviction ordinance in addition to California state law. Eviction notices must be filed with the County, and longer notice periods and relocation assistance apply in some cases.
Our office is on San Carlos Avenue. We are members of the California Apartment Association and use its current forms, and we have adapted to every local rule change since 1956.
